The last month or so, we got to spend some extra special time with Pa while he was in the hospital. The girls loved going to visit him, and loved everything about the hospital... the elevators, the snacks Grandma kept around, the tv in Pa's room, the nurses that were so kind to them, and the best part... the ice machine! This particular night, we stopped by after gymnastics, and the doctor showed up right after us. He talked for quite a while, and I looked over to check on the girls and saw them sitting just like this... what angels. They were very tolerant of a crazy month.
Annie would always crawl right into bed with Pa first thing, and cuddle right up to him. Claire would to, as long as he didn't have that tube in his nose... she didn't like that thing!
