Claire has been asking to go to "Dizzie Land" ever since she could talk. We finally told her that when she was all done sucking her thumb, we could all go... she was done in a week! So, off we headed, on a 6 hour drive to California. Halfway there, Annie said her tummy hurt, and before she could say anything else, she was loosing her lunch, all over herself, and the car! It's quite a trick to clean up a little girl covered in throw-up, while still driving, but we managed. Annie drove the last three hours in the only thing that hadn't been soaked... her skivvies! Claire slept through the whole thing, although when she woke up, the first thing she said was, "Something smells stinky!" - all for the love of memories!
As Nana would say, "There is nothing like viewing a vacation through the eyes of a princess." This statement was once again proved as we walked into our hotel room, and the two "princesses" oohed and aahhed over every little thing... everything!
Annie:"Claire, we even get our own little room!
Claire:"Oh, and even our own little phone!!"
Annie:"Look at all the lights in our room!!!!"
Claire:"Awww, and our own plant, it's so beautiful!!!!!"

The girls went to sleep in their "beautiful bed" easily, until 4:30a.m. when I hear Claire's little voice at my bedside; "Mommy, happy Disneyland Day!" We didn't have the heart to put her back to bed, so with 5 hours to kill until the park opened, we went on a walk.
At last it was time to head over to Disneyland- through the pouring rain! It was raining with blue skies overhead, so funny. Luckily it only lasted about a half hour, just long enough to cool everything off. Of course once inside, the crowds were massive, so we waited in line a lot.
We met lots of "friends", and rode every ride... it was an absolute blast! Claire was hillarious as she boarded every ride, and instantly her little hands went up in the air, didn't matter if it was Space Mountian, or Dumbo, she was no hands all the way! Annie would always start that way, but by the time we started moving even a little fast, her head was instantly buried into one of our laps (it didn't matter if it was Space Mountian, or Dumbo)!
And the highlight was....
