Annie's 8th birthday and baptism!!!
She had the funnest birthday party, Lindbloms were nice enough to let us have it at their awesome pool! All the mermaids got their face painted and glittered, while the lost boys got war paint. Then they "battled"! They had to play all kinds of relay games to earn clues that would help them find the treasure. What a blast!
That night we had her baptism as well.
Miss Annie was so prepared to be baptized. She memorized all 13 articles of faith, she read the Church produced Illistrated Book of Mormon, Doctorine and Covenats, New Testament, and Old Testament. She prayed about the scriptures and got confirmation, and we held a months worth of FHE's discussing baptism and the Holy Ghost.
Both she and Claire were emotional during the baptism, the spirit was so strong. It was just beautiful.
Annie's dress is the same one she and Claire wore for Aunt Rachel and Uncle Joe's wedding. We had to jazz it up for such a special day, so my friend helped me take the bottom of Claire's (since it itched her too much anyway) and attach it to the bottom of Annie's, making it just perfect for the occasion.
